AFA Breakfast Series on Capitol Hill
Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson joined AFA on Monday, June 5th, to address the audience at the inaugural AFA Breakfast Series on Capitol Hill. Secretary Wilson discussed her priorities as the 24th Secretary of the Air Force, focusing on modernization, budget constraints and new pilot retention initiatives. When it came to modernizing the Air Force’s aging aircraft fleet, Secretary Wilson, joined by Lt Gen Arnold Bunch, said the Air Force has “no plans” for buying more F-22s and that the service’s priority as of now is the F-35. Read the full recap of Secretary Wilson’s breakfast in AFA’s Air Force Magazine.
